For clients trading on Standard Cent accounts, the commission is calculated according to the partner level.
Instruments available for trade on a Standard Cent account go by the suffix ‘c’. For example, EURUSDc, GBPUSDc.
Calculating commission
A client registers under your partner link and trades 2 lots EURUSDc from the Forex group in a Standard Cent account. The opening prices at the time were:
- Bid: 1.11980
- Ask: 1.12000
If we assume that you are a Bronze partner (33% commission size):
Opening spread (in pips) = (Ask Price - Bid Price) / Pip Size
= (1.12000 - 1.11980) / 0.0001
= 2 pips
To find the pip value for a particular order, use our Trading Calculator. According to the calculator, the pip value for this order is 0.20 USD.
Therefore, Commission = 0.33 x 2 x USD 0.20 = USD 0.13 (13 US Cents)
- The commission will only be paid after the client closes the trade.
- The commission is subject to a bonus coefficient where applicable.
For orders executed by Close by function, the formula is:
Commission = Reward size x Opening spread in pips x Pip value
For CloseBy orders, 1 spread is counted, while hedged orders are counted as 2 spreads.
