A bonus coefficient is applied when calculating partner commission if a referred client trades with a bonus.
We no longer provide bonuses to clients. As a result, the bonus coefficient is almost always 1. The information below is for reference only.
Effect of the bonus coefficient
The higher the share of bonus funds in a client’s equity, the smaller the bonus coefficient, resulting in a reduced partner commission.
How to check the bonus coefficient
To see if a bonus coefficient was applied to a payout:
- Log in to your Partner Personal Area.
- Go to Reports > Client Transactions.
- Set the date range and select Apply.
- Click Show Details next to the transaction.
The details will display the applied coefficient, if any.
Bonus coefficient formula
Bonus coefficient = (Current equity – Current bonus) / Current equity
Equity and bonus values are taken at the moment the order is opened.
Example calculation
- Commission due: 10 USD
- Client bonus: 50 USD
- Current equity: 200 USD
Bonus coefficient = (200 – 50) / 200 = 0.75
Final commission = 10 × 0.75 = 7.5 USD
