Rebates let partners in the Introducing Brokers (IB) program share a portion of their commission with referred clients. You can set up, approve, and track rebates directly from the Rebates section in your Partner Personal Area.
- Rebates become available once your account registration is complete. Rebates cannot be set up for Copy Trading accounts.
- Rebates below 0.01 USD cannot be approved.
Key areas in the rebates section
The rebates section is divided into four main areas:
- Approval list – review and approve pending rebate payouts.
- Clients – manage individual referred clients and assign rebate rates.
- Groups – create client groups to automate rebate approval and payout rules.
- History – track all past rebate activity, including approved, paid, rejected, or error statuses.
Assigning rebates to clients
- Log in to your Partner Personal Area.
- Select Rebates from the top menu and open the Clients tab.

Use filters to find the referred clients you want to
assign
rebates to, such as client ID, client account, account
type,
sign-up period, country, partner code, and group.
- Under the group filter, you can select Without rebate group to select referred clients without an assigned rebate group.

Tick the checkbox next to the client, then select
Assign rebate with manual approval.
- To automate approval, add clients to a group with auto-approval enabled.
- Enter the rebate percentage and click Submit.
Approving or rejecting rebates
You must review rebates daily in the Approval list tab:
- Go to Rebates and open Approval list.
- Review pending rebates under the Action column.
- Click Approve or Reject.
- Enter the verification code sent to your security type, then select Submit.
Managing rebates with groups
Groups allow you to automate rebate settings for multiple clients.
Creating a group
- Go to Rebates > Groups.
- Click Create group and name it.
- Set group type to Manual approve rebate or Auto approve rebate.
- Add the respective partner code to automatically add referred clients who signed up with the partner code.
- In Settings, set a rebate percentage or create rules based on account type or trading volume.
- Add referred clients under the Clients tab.
Editing a group
- Change group type, rebate rate, partner code, or default settings in the Information tab.
- Remove or reassign clients under the Clients tab.
- Important: if you edit a group, it will default to Manual approve rebate. Reconfirm auto-approval if needed.
Deleting a group
- Only groups without clients can be deleted.
- Select Delete next to an empty group and click Submit.
Adding clients to a group
- Go to Rebates > Clients.
- Select the clients you want to group.
- Click Add to group, choose a group from the drop-down, and click Submit.
Tracking rebate history
The History tab shows all processed rebate data, including:
- Commission earned from referred clients.
- Rebates paid, rejected, or with errors.
- Rebate details such as processed date, client account, destination account, commission, rebate, and status (Approved, Processing, Paid, Error).
If a rebate has an error status or low funds, you can choose to skip or retry the rebate. Once skipped, the rebate will not be paid.
Use filters to search by payment period, status, or client
account.
Rebate statuses
- Paid – the rebate was successfully credited.
- Rejected – you rejected the rebate.
- Processing – the rebate is being processed.
- Error – the rebate failed. Click the question mark icon to see details.
