An Introducing Broker (IB) has a starting reward size of 33% of the opening spread on all transactions closed by signed up clients, and this can be increased up to 40% by meeting certain requirements. IBs can also apply to be a Regional Representative and have a regional office, which can help grow your referral base by increasing your local presence.
*Reward size differs based on the account type of the client’s account.
IB Requirements
The first requirement is that your Personal Area is fully verified.
Once fully verified, the requirements for IB are:
Requirement | Other countries | Thailand | China |
---|---|---|---|
Total trading volume for the past 3 calendar months | USD 30 million | USD 90 million | USD 150 million |
Minimum active clients in past 3 calendar months | 3 | 3 | Not applicable |
Within IB status, there are 4 reward tiers, namely Bronze Partner, Silver Partner, Gold Partner, and Brilliant Partner. The requirements for each tier increase, and the reward size climbs from 33% up to a possible 40%.
How to apply to be an IB
Partners can contact their regional account managers to apply for IB status or complete this application form.
Achieving the partner status of an IB is automatic for partners in select countries. In such cases, the accounts of Partners and Advanced Partners are monitored regularly to check if they meet necessary requirements and their reward level is automatically adjusted.
Be aware that a loss of the IB status is possible if the minimum requirements are not kept, and is based on a monthly check done. Failing to meet the requirements for 3 calendar months in a row can result in loss of IB status.
