Please note that this operation cannot be done from the Personal Area for partners. In order to perform this action, you will need to log in to the client Personal Area.
Before you change your phone number, it is necessary to have added the phone number you wish to change to.
Add a phone number
To add a phone number:
- Log in to your Exness Personal Area and open Settings > Security settings.
- Click Change under the 2 step verification block.
- Click on +New phone number. Add your phone number and proceed to complete captcha requirements.
Note: You will be prompted to solve a reCaptcha challenge (the typical checkbox) in order to prove that the action is being made manually and not by a computer program. Sometimes the checkbox challenge may evolve into an image selection challenge, subject to Google's internal algorithm.
- Click Send me a code once done.
- Enter the code sent to the new number to verify the action.
- The new phone number has now been added to the list of numbers.
Change to the newly added phone number
To change your phone number to the newly added one:
- Log in to your Exness Personal Area and open Settings > Security settings.
- Click Change under the 2 step verification block.
- Choose the newly added number and click Send me a code.
- Enter the code sent to your currently used security type and Confirm to complete.
- All account actions requiring authentication will have a code sent to your new number from now on.
Lost phone number
If you do not have access to your phone number and would like to change it, you are advised to contact the Exness Support Team.
